Frontend Developer (EU)
Who are we looking for?
Are you enthusiastic about global information and the news industry? Would you like to contribute to combating disinformation, and play a key role in growing platforms that shape the future of news? As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring a great user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Code and style web pages based on specification
- Create responsive web pages optimized for the best possible performance and accessibility
- Collaborate with the back-end team to display data from API
- Create mockups and prototypes
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- You will work on applications targeted at our customers, but also on internal applications and tools
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Frontend developer
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, testing, and release)
- Deeper knowledge of CSS and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
- Knowledge of ES6 +, webpack, ESLint, unit tests, SCSS, stylelint, REST API, Git
- Knowledge of Vue.js and Stimulus.js is an advantage
- Base knowledge of SEO principles
- Strong proficiency in English
